One of the items we decided to work on was the outer facade of the lodge. The landscaping was minimal... and always overgrown with weeds. We decided to put in some native plant species that would require very little water.. and would grow to provide color and depth to the building

We used a combination of 9 different plant species |

| The pictures really don't do it justice... but there are 9 different species, and it was mirrored layout. We had a landscape architecht friend provide us with a layout and the plants to purchase. The project took several months, including cleanout... planting, landscape fabric, irrigation and mulch. The result is a stepped area that will provide privacy and color to the front of the lodge, with (hopefully) minimal maintenance.
